1. When were  Black Star formed as a band and how did you all get to know each other in the first place and tell us who's in the band?

BLACK STAR WAS FORMED FROM TWO BANDS I PLAY WITH MIKE HALL AND STAN MIZCHEK PLAY WITH ME IN BALLZ DEEP AND PAT CARRANO PLAYS WITH ME IN LIVE SEX SHOW


2. Who have been the bands main influence musical and where do the band get it's ideas for the lyrics, are they taken out of everyday and personal experience?

WELL THE SONG S I WROTE ASE JUST EXPERIENCES IVE HAD OR HAVE TAKEN NOTE OF THROUGH OTHER PEOPLE I HANG WITH


3. The band have signed a deal with MTM Music in Europe for it's debut release. How were the contact to the label made and did the band at that time before signing to MTM Music have any other offers on hand?

WE HAD A FEW OFFERS A COUPLE OF YEARS AGO BUT I WAS WAY TO BUSY TO ACCOMMODATE THEM SO WE JUST LICENSED IT TO EUROPE AND JAPAN SEPARATELY


4. Has there been any interest from any record labels for the band from Japan and The States?

SEE ABOVE NOT THE STATES YET HAVEN'T EVEN SHOPPED THERE YET


5. Could the band tell us a little about the tracks featured on the bands front coming debut album, what they are about and what the listeners can expect off it?

SINCE THIS IS MY FIRST SOLO ENDEAVOR I DID SONGS FROM VARIOUS TYPES OF ROCK FROM POP TO BALLADS AND A COVER( LOVE HURTS COVERED BY NAZARETH. THE SONG S ARE ABOUT MANY TOPICS FROM THE 911 CRISIS TO HEART BREAK AND THE RADIO





6. Seeing that the band content of two ex. Harem Scarem members, there are probably a lot of people who are looking forward to a record in the same style or somewhere near close. Do you see that as a problem or in the favor off the band?

WELL I THE ONLY ONE IN BLACK STAR FROM HAREM SCAREM, ALTHOUGH HARRY AND PETER HELPED ME MAKE THIS RECORD. PROBLEM NO ONLY AND ADVANTAGE


7. Just to step a bit back in your time with Harem Scarem, what were the reason you left the band and are there any plans on you being featured as a background singer on the front coming album from the band?

AS A MATTER OF FACT I HAVE JUST FINISHED SINGING ALL THE BACKS UPS ON THERE NEW RECORD .....( OVERLOAD). and ITS BY FAR THE BEST RECORD TO DATE . IT REALLY ROCKS AND PETERS PLAYING IS ONCE AGAIN INSANE. HARRY COVERS SHOOK ME ALL NIGHT LONG ( ACDC) AND I CANT BELIEVE ITS HIM SINGING . its AMAZING. I LEFT SCAREM TO TRY OTHER THINGS IN MY LIFE MUSICALLY BUT I NEVER REALLY LEFT AS I STILL PARTICIPATE IN ALL THE RECORDS SINCE I LEFT


8. You are stepping up in front and leaving the drum duties for another person in Black Star. How were that decision made you taking over the lead vocals duties for the very first time in your own band and does that make you extra aware of what the other guy on the drums are doing, sense you used to do it?

PAT CARRANO HAS BEEN PLAYING DRUMS FOR ME IN LIVE SEX SHOW FOR ABOUT 9 YEARS. HE IS MY FAVORITE DRUMMER BY FAR. I NEVER QUESTION HIS PLAYING .ITS EXACTLY HOW I LIKE IT


9. What's the bands personal point of view on today's music industry and the general music scene as it's seen on MTV and heard on the mainstream radio stations?

WELL IM JUST GLAD ROCK IS COMING BACK IM A LITTLE TIRED OF ALL THE LITTLE KIDDY ROCKERS OUT THERE. TO BE A ROCK STAR IS AN EARNED TITLE NOT A BOUGHT TITLE


10. Hows the local area where the band hails from when it comes to get gigs to play and get played on the local radio stations?

I PLAY 4 DAYS A WEEK . IVE ALWAYS PLAYED SINCE  I WAS 14. I GET MUCH SUPPORT FROM RADIO AND TV OUT HERE


11. What's been the bands best moments in it's short time of existence and so far do the band itself feel it's been a struggle to get to where the band is now?

WELL IVE PRETTY MUCH DONE EVERYTHING FOR THE BAND AS IT WAS MY PROJECT TO BEGIN WITH BUT THE PLAYERS ARE SO AMAZING ITS BEEN QUITE EASY. ITS NEVER EASY TO BREAK A RECORD BUT IT SEEMS LIKE THAT'S ALL IVE EVER DONE ....IS TO TRY AND MAKE A HIT RECORD.....SO HERES ONE MORE


12. What does the future holds for the band at this moment in time, any plans of touring in the progress and what about new material, any plans on a full length album?

IM ACTUALLY WRITING A NEW RECORD RIGHT NOW


13. Any last words to the fans People out there here in the end?

I WOULD LOVE TO HERE BACK FROM FANS ABOUT THIS RECORD I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHAT SORT OF RECORD THEY WOULD LIKE FROM ME. .IM HERE THERE THEIR I LOVE ALL KINDS OF MUSIC SO I HAVE NO MUSICAL PREJUDICE. I REALLY LIKE HOW DIVERSE THE RECORD IS IAND I HOPE THEY DO TOO.....CHEERS FOR YEARS WITH ICE COLD BEERS
